At The Cowboy Boots, we want you to shop with confidence. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our return policy below.
This policy applies to all orders placed within Australia.
Change of Mind Returns
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery for change-of-mind purchases.
To be eligible for a return:

Items must be unworn and unused

Boots must be in their original packaging

All original tags must be attached

Items must be in resalable condition
We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear, damage or use.
Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost or undelivered return parcels.
Return shipping fees are non-refundable.
Restocking Fee
A $15 AUD restocking fee will be deducted from your refund for each returned item.
This fee covers inspection, handling and restocking costs.
Refunds
Once your returned item is received and inspected:

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method

The refund amount will be minus the $15 restocking fee

Original shipping fees (if applicable) are non-refundable
Please allow up to 5–7 business days for the refund to appear in your account after processing.
Orders with Free Shipping
If your order qualified for free shipping and a return reduces the total order value below the free shipping threshold, the original shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you require a different size or style, please:

Faulty or Incorrect Items
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major fault and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photos of the issue.
We will assess the claim and provide further instructions.
We will cover return shipping costs for approved faulty items.
Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:

Items that have been worn outdoors

Boots showing visible signs of wear

Items returned after 7 days (for change-of-mind)

Damage caused by misuse or improper care
